Today we searched multiple search engines, like Google and Yahoo, for results on our names. We then did an advanced search, which did not get as many results as the default search. The reason why is because the advanced search only looks for the specific information you typed while the default search looks for any of the words you typed.

Today we looked at various Internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Firefox. Google Chrome is currently the second-most popular Internet browser with Firefox in the lead.

Today computer 7 learned that the number of text messages = the population of the earth. We also learned that teens text during homework, eating and class work. six million adults listen to podcasts daily. Also one out of eight married couples meet online. 200 million+ have a Facebook account.

Computer 7 - 1/18/12

Today we don't have class because of an early our due to professional development. My Computer 7 students will start blogging our class topics daily. Each day one student will take the last 5 minutes of class to blog at least two things that were discussed in class that day.
